Up-and-over door

The up-and-over garage door is characterized by a single panel which, by rotating on a pivot and thanks to a system of counterweights, allows the garage to open vertically. To facilitate the swinging movement of the panel, the lifting mechanisms use ball bearings and steel wire ropes, which allow the door to slide smoothly up to the ceiling. Once opened, the up-and-over door protrudes outwards for about a third of the height of the panel.

It is compact and solid, but decidedly bulky, since during the opening and closing phases it requires more space for maneuvering the panel, both inside and outside.

Sectional door

Sectional garage doors are made up of several panels joined together that slide upwards on lateral guides, adhering to the ceiling. Thanks to this configuration, they take up less space than overhead doors, allowing for greater flexibility in the use of garage space. With this solution it is possible to park the car, scooter or bicycle right next to the entrance, without the risk of accidental knocks when opening and closing.

Rolling shutter

Electric roller shutters for garages represent an interesting alternative to both overhead and sectional doors. Instead of lifting or sliding on rails close to the ceiling, the roller shutter rolls up on itself in a box located in the upper part of the garage space.

It is a real space-saving solution, which allows the internal space of the garage to be used to its full height.
